High Jump - General Rules

The order in which contestants will make their attempts will be chosen by lottery. 
In all jumping events, each competitor will be credited with the best of all his jumps, subject to conditions 
on the draws. 
In the high jump the competitor may put brands (provided by the Organizing Committee) to help him in his race 
and thrust, and a scarf or something on the bar, for better visibility. In the pole vault, distance and 
triple, no marks will be allowed on the track, but a competitor may put the score provided by the Organizing Committee 
beside the track. No marks will be put on box jumps. 
Before starting the test set by that time, the judges will announce the contestants all heights to which vai 
be elevated to the crossbar, including initial. It should also be announced to be raised or lowered as the 
case of a tie for first place. 
The way in which the bar will be raised or lowered in deciding a tie for first place, should also be 
announced. 
A competitor may start jumping at any height above the established minimum and may miss their choice, 
any subsequent time. Three consecutive failed attempts, regardless of the height at which any of these flaws 
occurred, to prevent athlete proceeding heels. 
The time allowed to make the jump alteta is 2min. 
The athlete should boost with only one foot.
